Blurred Nights is an experimental photo book that uses motion blur to portray the feeling of being drunk. I wanted these photos to capture the perspective of little snippets during a late night in a college town after having one too many drinks. I wanted raw, real photos of people being themselves and after a few drinks, it was not hard to witness people in their element.  Most of the time, it was like a mask had been lifted and I could see them for who they really were. On top of seeing people simply having fun, I also became more aware of some very deep racial problems this town/state has. This book really pushed me beyond my comfort zone. It forced me to go up to strangers who I found interesting to photograph. This aspect of the project was very challenging for me but ultimately, made it more rewarding in the end.
