CENSORED

This guerrilla advertising project was created to spark attention for an upcoming erotic art exhibition. The idea centered on custom coffee sleeves designed to look like pixelated censor bars, placed over famous nude paintings printed on coffee cups. When someone picked up a cup, the sleeve covered the most revealing areas and revealed the line “Want to see more” along with the event details.

To make the campaign effortless for local shops, the organizers of Censored covered the cost of every cup used in the promotion. The result was a playful and memorable piece of street level marketing that supported small businesses while getting people talking about the show.
